Dr. Barry Barresi is an accomplished clinician executive, health policy expert, business entrepreneur and association CEO. He has successfully led transformational innovation in the nonprofit and business sectors of health care and academia. Along with his role as President and CEO of Association Ventures, he is a Professor of Health Policy at Salus University, School of Public Health. Dr. Barresi is the former CEO of the American Optometric Association and the founding CEO of AOAExcel, Inc., the wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary of AOA devoted to providing financial and business services across the country. He lives in Atlanta with his wife who both enjoys golf, nature walks and international travel.
